The Challenge:
In Kogi State, numerous schools struggle with inadequate infrastructure, including crumbling classrooms, leaky roofs, and insufficient furniture. These conditions make learning uncomfortable and often unsafe. Additionally, the lack of essential resources such as textbooks, teaching aids, and technology leaves students and teachers ill-equipped to achieve academic success. Overcrowded classrooms, where one teacher may manage more than 50 students, further exacerbate the issue, diminishing the quality of education. For many children in these communities, education becomes a struggle rather than a pathway to growth.
Our Impact:
Folabora Bryhm Foundation is taking bold steps to address these challenges. Through our school renovation projects, we are restoring hope and dignity to education in Kogi State. By repairing existing structures and building new classrooms, we provide safe and conducive environments for learning.
