Dr. Folabora Bryhm, founder of the Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Professor Tom Adaba, a distinguished media expert, patriot, and proud son of Kogi State.
Prof. Adaba, who passed away at the age of 83, was a pioneer in Nigeria’s media industry, leaving an enduring legacy in journalism and broadcasting.
In his heartfelt tribute, Dr. Bryhm honored Prof. Adaba’s invaluable contributions to the field of mass communication. “His leadership and vision were instrumental during his tenure as the Principal of the Nigerian Television College, Jos, and as the first Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC). He laid the groundwork for ethical journalism and responsible broadcasting across Nigeria, making an immense impact on our nation,” Dr. Bryhm stated.
